Cancelo to Leave Al Hilal After Playing Time Decrease

Cancelo, the former Chelsea player, has announced that he will be leaving Al Hilal after playing time decreases in his contract with the club.

The Portuguese midfielder signed for Al Hilal on a three-year deal in January last year and had been performing well for the club, scoring two goals and assisting one in 12 appearances in all competitions. However, it seems that his performances have not been enough to keep him in the team.

In a statement released by Al Hilal, Cancelo said: "I am very grateful for my time at Al Hilal and I want to thank everyone who helped me during this period. It's been a great experience and I wish them all the best."

Al Hilal manager, Adel Taarabt,Qatar Stars League Analysis also expressed his disappointment over Cancelo's departure. He said: "We wish him all the best for the future and we hope that he will find another good opportunity soon."

Cancelo has played 44 times for Chelsea since joining the club from Benfica in 2018, scoring six goals and providing eight assists. He was also part of the Chelsea squad that won the Premier League title in the 2019-20 season.

Cancelo's departure from Al Hilal is a blow to the club, especially as they were hoping to strengthen their midfield options ahead of the upcoming season. The club has already made some signings in the transfer window, including goalkeeper Eliaquim Mangala and defender Willy Caballero, but they will now look to find a replacement for Cancelo.

Cancelo's exit from Al Hilal highlights the importance of players' contracts and how they can affect their career. While he may have performed well for the club, it is understandable that he would want to continue playing at a high level and earn more game time.

It is always difficult when a player leaves a club due to performance issues or other reasons. However, it is important for clubs to manage their finances and make sure that they have a strong squad capable of competing in top-level football.
